I have waited patiently for a long time to say this:  Construction on Argenta Maket has begun!  On December 14, the new Argenta Market went under the hammer, and a complete remodeling job will transform the space into a beautiful, warm and well organized community grocery store--FINALLY!!!

The projected opening date is sometime in March 2010.  Some of you know that I have worked on this for several years to make it a reality, with several false starts to my credit. Many people have helped and trusted in me enough to actually make it happen, finally. At this point there are too many people to thank here, but you know who you are, and I will remember all the help and work many have offered to make this dream a reality. There will be a special place in the store and in my heart for you all! 

I'm also very excited for our farmers, as this will become another viable market for local foods throughout the year, while providing our customers an additional retail outlet for good local food.
