Our selection of products is limited to only Arkansas made or grown products for which we know the producer and how that product was produced. If it is on our site here, there is something special about it in our eyes. Our main business, however,  deals with fresh produce items that are grown and sold directly to our CSA members from Foodshed Farm through the Basket-A-Month program, and delivered to a pickup zone each month in central Arkansas only.  All of our products must be picked up at one of our BAM pickup zones that are scheduled by email each month. You must be a BAM CSA member to order our products, since we only send Pickup Notifications to BAM subscribers.  We do not ship our products at this time.  The items in this category are all available for DECEMBER 2007 purchase and pickup, in addition to your regular monthly BAM basket.  Thanks for shopping online.  We will contact you to confirm your order and product availibility before your credit card is processed.  Thank you and we will take care of your order promptly!  Jody Hardin

Our subscription agriculture program is called "Basket-A-Month" or BAM for short.  BAM is a cooperative effort between many small Arkansas farmer's and producers, and you the consumer. We hope this program will be a solution for you and your family, and that it will draw you closer to your family at the dinner table by knowing the people who grow and raise your food.  We hope you have studied and understand our program by reading our "Rules and Policies for BAM" on the "Farm CSA" page here at ARKANSASFOOD.NET.  YOU MUST AGREE TO THESE TERMS BEFORE YOU SIGN UP. Space is limited in our program due to the limited production capabilities of our farm suppliers, BUT GO AHEAD AND SUBSCRIBE, AND WE WILL ADD YOU TO THE WAITING LIST IF NECESSARY.  You may subscribe online and we will contact you before your credit card is processed to tell you when you will begin receiving your monthly basket, or you can bring a check for the exact amount to the pickup location ONLY if you are RENEWING your subscription. Typically you can begin the same month that you subscribe.  "Note:  We are just beginning our online subscription process(DEC07) and hope you will let us know of any improvements we can make".   Currently, CREDIT CARDS CAN ONLY BE PROCESSED BY PAYPAL. YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND SUBMIT YOUR INFORMATION AND WE WILL CONTACT YOU BY EMAIL TO CONFIRM A START DATE.  Remember, for new members,  if we do not receive your payment by the Monday of pick-up week, you will not be guaranteed a basket (We have to have all orders together to give the farmers time to harvest and deliver their products).
